4th Annual MIIPH Peace Symposium 2026: A Meaningful Gathering for Reflection, Dialogue, and Community

The 4th Annual Mridha International Peace Symposium brought together community leaders, educators, healthcare professionals, students, and peace advocates at Saginaw Valley State University on March 27, 2026. Through keynote talks, panel discussions, and the presentation of the Mridha Community Peace Awards, attendees explored how each of us can be present and part of the solution for peace. On March 27, 2026, MIIPH proudly hosted its 4th Annual Peace Symposium at Saginaw Valley State University, Gilbertson Hall. Centered on the theme “Being Present & Part of the Solution for Peace,” the symposium brought together community leaders, educators, advocates, students, and guests for a day of reflection, dialogue, and inspiration.

The event featured an opening keynote by Dr. Debasish Mridha, with Andrew J. Bethune serving as Master of Ceremonies, along with guest speakers Dr. George Grant, Mark Maxwell, and Barb Smith. The program concluded with lunch and a peace award presentation.

The symposium reflected MIIPH’s continued commitment to building peace through compassion, presence, and purposeful action in our communities.
